About Mark

Mark has a kind, patient, nonjudgmental, and sympathetic demeanor. He creates a safe and secure environment and always takes the time to listen to the client’s needs and objectives. His counseling style is respectful, accepting, and centered around the best interest of the individual. Mark is a double board-certified licensed mental health counselor in Florida with over 12 years of experience. He is a board Clinical Mental Health Counselor by the NBCC – (National Board for Certified Counselors), a Nationally Certified Counselor by the NBCC as well as a Board Certified Telehealth counselor for online counseling. Mark is also a qualified mental health supervisor to train other therapists and help them get their licensure. Mark specializes in treating substance abuse, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, fear of being in a public place, social anxiety, relationship issues, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and addiction issues. He also specializes in helping others cope with new and difficult situations while having to adjust to a new way of life. His approach is empathetic, non-judgmental, patient and kind. The specific modalities Marc uses include cognitive therapy to help challenge specific thoughts and feelings so that you can successfully work through your issues.
